If you only It's all happening in the historic sugar plantation of Kilohana every Tuesday evening. Located at Kilohana Plantation on the Island of Kauai, Luau Kalamaku hosts NCL America passengers and the general public in a unique celebration of both ancient and contemporary Hawaiian culture. Visitors explore the historic grounds of Kilohana Plantation, the Kauai Plantation Railway and participate in authentic Hawaiian games, crafts and arts at our Hawaiian culture stations.
The luau culminates with a Hawaiian theatrical production created by Haunani Asing Marston of NH Productions LLC & Halani Boshard (Formerly Berard). “E Pulama no i ka Anoano”, is an original recreation by Marston of one family′s courageous voyage from Tahiti to Hawaii; a passionate tale of life, love and devotion. It is a unique cultural program that is respectful to the host culture and provides our passengers with the opportunity to experience and learn about Hawaii′s heritage.
Luau Kalamaku opened its doors on April 4th, 2007. An authentic Hawaiian luau infused with a theatrical–style Polynesian show, Luau Kalamaku expresses the amazing and uncommon stories of Polynesian migration to Hawaii.
