We attended the luau during our honeymoon, and this was one of our favorite nights of the entire trip! The entire experience was amazing. The show was incredible! We only wish the pictures we took did justice to the beauty we saw. The food buffet was also great. We were able to try foods we had never eaten before. We loved the Mai Tais and Blue Hawaiians, too. Best of all, the staff was so courteous and accommodating. We left with smiles from ear–to–ear.

Toured all the islands in December of 2007. This was the best Luau by far of the 4 we attended.

Kalamaku Luau Rocks!!
Aloha Everyone!
Where do I start, Kalamaku Luau is so much more than just another luau, It touches on history, Romance, and the hardships of a culture and lifestyle of the past. I felt as if I was part of the time line of yesteryear and found myself absorbed by the music, dance and most important the storyline.
Blue winds gave a real feel of what it was like for families, sons and daughters that I have never been exposed to in the past luau′s any where in the planet. I felt I was watching a movie of some sort, waiting for a happy ending. no words were needed during anytime for myself to understand the plot or dilemma the characters expressed in motions and dance. truly a one of a kind experience, to have such High tech lights and sounds to blend in with tradition and an old school feel is a remarkable accomplishment for everyone who has had an part in the development of this show! Vegas should come see how to really make a 5 star theme that keeps with tradition and feel!
Mahalo Mahalo! Aloha!

“The tropical, colonial setting when you first arrive takes you back in time to old Hawaii. The grounds are lush and the pavilion was spacious and well organized. Drinks flowed and the food kept coming. But the highlight of the evening was the show! A beautiful expression of the native people of Hawai′i and the Aloha Spirit!”

I have been to Hawaii three times and each time have experienced a “luau” so I was wondering just how different and special could the Luau Kalamaku really be? Well I was absolutely amazed—it exceeded my expectations. The Luau Kalamaku has so much to offer even before the theatrical luau show begins.
The entire property is an event, featuring beautiful landscape, quaint shops, craft demonstrations and traditional Hawaiian games on the lawn, the Kauai Plantation Railway, Clydesdale Carriage rides and a feeling that you are living the Hawaiian Experience. The buffet was delicious with many choices and that′s not always the case with luau′s. The theater is covered by a large tent so weather is never an issue and there isn′t a bad seat to be found.
The performers are believable and very talented and I didn′t want the show to end. I highly recommend the Luau Kalamaku to everyone and make sure you allow yourself plenty of time – there is so much to see and do making it a completely perfect excursion!
