Thank you for bringing the old Polynesian feel to the luau, which we missed at a couple other luaus on Kaua'i.
When you prayed a blessing on the group in Hawaiian, I was brought to tears. We all need to give thanks to our Creator and on behalf of our group, I thank you for doing this. Please remember this if anyone ever complains about any blessings given. We appreciated and needed it! Everything after that was tasty frosting to me.
As a fibre artist, I also noticed the tremendous work into making the costumes authentic. Your fire dancer is one of the best we've ever seen!
Thank you again for a fun, tasty and exciting evening.

Best Luau by far! Great food! Better entertainment! From the show to the property, it was a beautiful experience I hope to witness again, and the staff were very friendly, making this a great first day in Kauai! Thanks again Luau Kalamaku!

Have to say that I was skeptical before attending this event. 45 minutes of hokey hula dancing and half naked guys.
Wrong.
This event topped our excursion list, even topping the helicopter flight over Kauai, if you can compare the two. We bought the VIP tickets and were not disappointed. We were seated at a table for 4 person right in front of the stage.
I almost jumped out my seat when a loud honking came from behind our table - a guy in native costume blowing a conch shell as he walked to the stage. Then followed a series of historical dances and songs with lots of drumming, and I mean lots, dancing and great singing. Twirling fire and knives. 45 minutes was gone just like that. The dancers got a standing ovation, well deserved. I'd buy up a DVD of this performance if it ever came out. Much of the music reminds one of the Mexican classic Night of the Mayas.
This was an unforgetable experience - if you do one thing ont this island, do this. This food was pretty good also, tho I don't take to fish much but the wife lapped it up.
