My husband and I and close friends attended your Luau and there is just one word to describe it. FANTASTIC ENTERTAINING!! It was especially nice when we were told we could take pictures with the cast. We did that and will treasure them for a long long time. The drinks and the food were delicious and a nice surprse was the craft area where we could see and purchase items that the locals made available. We purchased a beautiful scenery picture and a couple other items to bring home for souvenirs. We will return when we come back to Kuai and you can be sure we will send others we know to your BIG LUAU NIGHT. We Certainly Loved It!

I really enjoyed the luau. The best show ever! And the food was good too.
I wanted the picture that was taken when you enter, but didn't see them when I left, and had forgot about it until after I had left.

Hello,
My husband and I participated in this awesome experience during our NCL cruise. The train ride was informational, the performance was awesome, and the food was tasty. The artists that displayed their crafts and things was a nice added bounus. I watched two carvers sculpt a turtle, it was great. Lets not forget to mention the band! Whatever band they had playing that night, was completely great. The lead singer did an acapella version of Oh Holy night as we were leaving, and OMG we were moved to tears! We can not wait to visit again!

The Luau had a great show kind, very theatrical and had a nice story to tell. I did get the Luau with the train package. I have attended several Luaus before but this was my girlfriend's first Luau. I thought it would of been a nice experience for her.
We did get there about 5pm for check in. There was a line of people trying to get in and pay for their reservations as well and that took awhile. By the time we were done, it was time to get on the train.
The train was a nice learning experience of what grows on the property and you get to feed some of the farm animals. The only regret about getting the train ride was that it ended as soon as the luau started. The train ride started at 5:30pm. As soon as you get off the train, you better move on to the luau. We missed the Imu ceremony and the other activities that were around. We also did not receive our leis for the luau. We were rushed to our table. It was nice to get a table close to the stage but part of the dinner was already served and the other parties who also occupied our table pretty much finished the salad and the bread that was served. It’s not a nice feeling of eating table left overs and fruit that seems to be picked at.
The luau presentation was a great one. I think it might be a good idea to check in earlier than 5pm to get through the crowd that comes in at 5pm so you have some time to join the luau activities and maybe claim your spot at the table so that you’re not sitting in a blocked view of the show. As for the train, its nice but not before the luau unless you check in earlier.
To be honest, I think I rather spend the extra money for the Plantation Owner’s Evening. At least I don't have to worry about rushing to the luau, sharing a table or getting a bad seat behind someone during the presentation. I felt that I did not get a good experience with the Luau dinner compared to other ones I've been to.
